Fortunately, I have returned from my trip.As many of you already know, I was recently involved in an overseas project where I investigated the indigenous peoples of Paris France, Prague Czech Republic, and Vienna Austria. I was there with a team of professionals (Storm Holloway, Mark Waters, Rachel Waynberg, and others) and we were focused on uncovering more about their customs, especially with regard to their local cuisine, their drinking culture, night life, and odd primitive languages. In a twist of fate, my team of academicians and I were halted in our course of study when, in a nearby (far off) island country known as "Iceland," a massive volcano exploded, we were stranded with only archaic means of transportation available to us, such as something we once had here in the United Stated and referred to as "trains." Yes, it seems in these peculiar countries they still rely quite heavily on ground transportation, which ironically, in the unlikely event of a massive volcanic ash cloud that disrupts over 60,000 flights and displaces over 6 million travelers, turns out to be quite convenient, albeit barbaric. In any regard, I have landed just now in our wonderfully modern city of New York. So let it be known, I will indeed be making myself available for all of you during the aforementioned office hours. Feel free to step into my office and ask me anything you like about my recently acquired knowledge. Bribes of alcoholic beverages in exchange for better grades in my class will be accepted and looked upon favorably.
